The winner selected on April 12, 2025, will perform as a featured soloist at the GRAND FINALS OF THE REDLANDS BOWL YOUNG ARTISTS CONCERTO COMPETITION with an orchestra conducted by Maestro Roger Kalia on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, as part of the Redlands Bowl Summer Music Festival season performance.

The four finalists selected on April 12, 2025, will compete on the Bowl stage for the GRAND FINALS OF THE REDLANDS BOWL YOUNG ARTISTS CONCERTO COMPETITION with an orchestra conducted by Maestro Roger Kalia on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 as part of the Redlands Bowl Summer Music Festival season performance.

1st place winner
Ella Cho
Pianist Ella Cho began her musical journey at the age of six and has performed in venues such as Weill Recital Hall in Carnegie Hall, the Herbert Zipper Hall in Los Angeles, and with the Camerata Orchestra in Seoul, Korea. Most recently, she was awarded top prizes at The Piano League International Piano Competition, the Aloha International Piano Competition, and the Chopin International Competition. In her home state, Ella has won first prize in the Music Teachers’ Association of California State Solo and Contemporary Festival and the Kathryn Garwatin Chopin Competition.

Rubi Lee
Violinist Rubi Lee is currently attending Orange County School of the Arts. Since starting her journey as a violinist at the age of 8, she has performed at Carnegie Hall three times. Rubi has received many awards in prestigious competitions such as the Pacific Musical Society & Foundation, the Pacific Symphony Youth Orchestra Concerto Competition, the Bellagrande International Music Competition, the Southern California Philharmonic Concerto Competition, the Concerto Competition of California Association of Professional Music Teachers, OCSA Concerto Competition, and the CalASTA State Final Solo Competition.

Julie Lee
Pianist Julie Yeasol Lee was born in South Korea and based in New York. She began her early studies when she was four. On moving to the United States, Julie studied with Jeffrey Biegel, a piano faculty of the Brooklyn College School of Music. She made a soloist debut with the LaGuardia High School Symphony Orchestra in her sophomore year in high school. She is a winner of numerous competitions, including the New York Laureate International Music Competition, the National Young Arts Foundation, the New York Music Competition/YWCA, and the Baltimore International Piano Competition. As a chamber musician, she participated in the New York Youth Symphony Chamber Music program, and her quintet group won the regional CIM of Lincoln Center Chamber Music Competition.

Jennifer Jo
Jennifer Jo is a Doctorate of Musical Arts candidate in Flute Performance at UCLA. As an active orchestral musician, Jo has performed with the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Walt Disney Hall and the Hollywood Bowl under the direction of Gustavo Dudamel, as well as the Civic Orchestra of Los Angeles under Anthony Parnther. Jo won first prizes in the 2021 Southern California Philharmonic Concerto Competition, the 2019 San Francisco Flute Society Competition, 2019 South Carolina Flute Society Competition, 2020 Sacramento Flute Club Competition, and the 2016-17 Carnegie Mellon University School of Music Concerto Competition.
