All about the Hospitality Ensemble!
The tradition of providing Hospitality to the performers of the Summer Music Festival began in 1950 by The Associates of the Redlands Bowl. In 2003, The Associates of the Redlands Bowl discontinued this tradition in order to concentrate primarily on the vital work of fundraising.
Laurie Guggisberg and Tracy Massimiano, two long-term members of the Associates of the Redlands Bowl, created the Hospitality Ensemble in order to carry on the 53-year tradition of Hospitality at the Bowl. The first meeting of the Charter membership of the Hospitality Ensemble took place on April 19th, 2004.
Our purpose is solely to provide Hospitality to the performers of the Summer Music Festival and at the Young Artist’s competition. We also usher as an organization once during each Bowl season and facilitate the delivery of the Season Brochures for the Summer Music Festival.
Hospitality is one of the things that distinguishes the Redlands Bowl from other venues and leaves a lasting impression on the performers. It is through the dedication of many volunteers that the graciousness of Hospitality at the Bowl will endure for generations to come!
