There are four major categories of sponsorship/underwriting: Concert sponsors, brochure underwriters, concert program printing underwriters, and children’s programs underwriters.
Over 100,000 people attend the Bowl programs each season, which guarantees a high level of recognition for our donors. Concert sponsors, brochure underwriters, and printed program underwriters are each invited onto the Bowl stage before a concert for a public “thank you” in front of the audience, and are presented with a token of appreciation from Redlands Bowl Performing Arts. Donor names are printed in our season brochure, in our evening printed program inserts twice during the season, in the Bowl magazine published by the Redlands Daily Facts, and on our Web site. In addition, the concert co-sponsors and printing underwriters are acknowledged in the credits of several Bowl concerts which are broadcast on KVCR TV, our local PBS affiliate. Sponsors and underwriters also receive invitations to exclusive receptions with other major donors.
Concert sponsors support a particular concert, and the donor acknowledgment is printed in the Festival’s season brochure and on the front cover of the program distributed to the audience for that performance.
Brochure underwriters support the cost of printing the season brochures. A business card sized logo for each of the sponsors are listed on the back cover. The full-color brochures have a distribution area that includes all of the Inland Empire and beyond, from Los Angeles to Palm Springs.
Concert program printing underwriters support the cost of printing the programs that are distributed to the audience at each concert. The donor names are printed on the back of every program throughout the entire season. Please note that underwriting is often provided by more than one donor, so all of the names will be listed for the duration of the season.
88 Keys Youth Music Program underwriters (Workshops, Music in the Schools, and Arts Impact Initiative) support the summer workshops offered on Tuesdays and Saturdays during the concert season and the special programs given at local elementary schools. The Music in the Schools Program brings performances into schools serving primarily low-income families. These presentations are conducted by one of the performing groups appearing on the Bowl stage, in conjunction with their evening performance.
